MAPCO conversion kit - clutch kit + rigid flywheel for various VW models (Item No. 10757)
In addition to the
MAPCO coupling program we developed these clutch kits with a rigid flywheel for our customers to replace the original clutch with a dual mass flywheel (DMF).
The original dual mass flywheels are very fragile and the repair is very expensive.
This clutch kit differs externally from the original clutch.
Instead of a DMF with a rigid clutch disc, we use a rigid flywheel with a clutch disc that has torsion springs.
The installation of the MAPCO conversion set is easy and precise.
advantages:

- compact, simple installation, lower weight
- more reliable than OE, a rigid flywheel is more robust and wear-resistant than a DMF
- replaces the vulnerable dual mass flywheel
- 1:1 exchangeable with original part, no conversion necessary

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
When replacing the clutch, MAPCO Autotechnik recommends also replacing the clutch slave cylinder (hydraulic or mechanical release bearing / central release).
This central release is not included in the set offered!
